Installation of self-cleaning toilets

In order to compensate for the lack of public washrooms on its territory, the City of Montreal has undertaken to install twelve self-cleaning automated toilets in existing parks, park pavilions and public squares.

Catalyse Urbaine accompanied the borough and the elected officials in the development of different scenarios, at different locations on the territory of the Ville-Marie borough. The objective was to create a welcoming space that is highly visible to its potential users and to achieve a careful integration that adapts to existing constraints.
