Between earth and Sky, exhibition garden

A garden is a living organism, on which operate energetic forces such as wind, light and water. These are generally invisible to the bare eye, but are revealed by discrete signs: plants delicately swing in the breeze, a play of light and shade, dew in the early morning.

This garden is a catalyst of energetic phenomena, brought to life with special devices that are sensitive to wind, sun and passersby. Coloured disks and chimes, perched on flexible metallic stems, sway in the wind and call upon visitors to touch, push and strike them. In the manner of acupuncture needles, the stems reveal the site’s energy lines that find their source well beyond the confines of the garden.
